When looking for a special delicacy, and for spiritual ceremony, look to Jaguar Cacao.
Macambo, also known as Jaguar bean, is a rare and unique bean that closely resembles traditional cacao but offers a more creamy, cashew-like flavor. Grown alongside cacao trees, its pods share a similar appearance, though its taste profile sets it apart.
Macambo is known for its benefits to brain health and mental wellness, making this blend a perfect choice for a calming, focused experience.
This blend is not a powder but a rich, crumbly form of native cacao, just with a slightly creamier texture thanks to the addition of Macambo. It is minimally processed, which gives it a different texture and taste to most other ceremonial cacaos on the Australian market. It’s less roasted and not tampered into a block and then shaved as is the case with most ceremonial cacao.
Morning Ritual Cacao is very unique, and noticeably different to connect with. It is also more versatile and can be made with a more caramel influence using cinnamon, maple or mesquite powder.
Morning Ritual cacao is sourced directly from a small, family-owned farm in the Valley of Chazuta, Northern Peru. Each bean is planted, harvested, fermented, dried, and milled with care, following traditional methods passed down through generations. Supporting this farm means preserving heirloom cacao, biodiversity, and sustainable practices that honour Pachamama.
